About Us
Country Place is a unique community consisting of approximately 148 lots with 137 HOA members. The community has many trees and lots of hills as it can be considered the beginning of the Texas Hill Country. Country Place has a community swimming pool, lighted tennis courts, and a bridle path/hiking trail. There is also a community area near the pool and a pond. Country Place is one of the few communities in the area with a bridle path for horseback riding. Some of our residents even walk or hike the path as it covers several miles.
Country Place is incorporated as a non-profit under the name S.A. Country Place Homes Association, Inc. The Homeowners Association is made up of lot owners and governed by an elected Board of Directors.
As an owner of a lot in Country Place, you are a member of the S.A. Country Place Homes Association. The Homeowners Association owns the common grounds and facilities which covers 5 acres. The Homeowners Association elects members to the Board of Directors at its Annual Meeting. These elected Directors serve without pay, as do other various committee members who help the Directors manage Country Place. All homeowners and residents are encouraged to attend the announced Board Meetings and contribute to any activities or projects.
The typical Annual Homeowner dues are $342 and these dues help pay for the maintenance of the common areas including the pool, tennis courts, bridle path, and pond.
We believe Country Place is one of the few communities near San Antonio that allow true country living and tranquility.
